Donating is a great thing, and getting something back in return is an extra bonus. That's exactly what Banana Republic and Goodwill are set to do. From Oct. 16 through Oct. 26, take a trip to your local Banana Republic store, drop off a gently worn sweater or coat, and receive 30 percent off any regular priced item. Pretty simple, huh?
All your donated items will be sold at Goodwill stores nationwide. Proceeds will benefit training and employment programs for people with disabilities, those who lack education, and those facing economic challenges. Come on, dust off that coat you haven't worn since 1996 and give it to someone who needs it.

This is a really nice idea!
1This is definitely a great cause. I always find myself at Wasteland or Buffalo Exchange selling old/unused clothes. Definitely something I'll do soon
Thanks for the post, sugar!
2Fabulous!
3This is awesome! I will have to remember to do it.
4Then you can get that fabulous plaid shirt for $60 instead of $80! http://www.bananarepublic.com/browse/product.do?pid=606910012&tid=BRAF10...
5love this - I donate all the time simply because it makes me feel better about getting rid of brand new clothing that I never wore (haha and because it helps people of course), and I love that they're rewarding people for that, especially with discounts for their Fab stuff...
