Note the lack of men on the streets these past couple Sundays. Don't worry, it's not you: it's football season. Though I'm a girlie girl at heart, I indulge in a couple pigskin festivities every season. This weekend, my friend's throwing a Sunday Football bash. Tons of cuties will be present, so help me find a cute casual look. No heels, no fluff. All the guys will be glued to the screen, but there's always half-time, right?
I'll start you off with these Falke Striggings Arm Warmers ($29) because they're sporty, cozy, and make for a great ice-breaker. Ready, set, hike!
Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Sunday football.
Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.
Learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one. And here is a more detailed explanation of bookmarks from geeksugar.

Yes, because arm warmers will really scream "I get football" to the guys you're hanging out with. How about just a t-shirt to support your team?
1Those things are horrible and pointless wear long gloves! Those things look like your covering some type of skin condition or treating an area that has been burned.
2I think the message Fab wants to achieve is a cute casual outfit, not an outfit that say "i get football"
3hate arm warmers. they should be illegal.
4yeah, I'm not so sure I'd go with those either. It won't be understood at all.
5
6Cute on the model, they'd be REEEEALLY weird on me.
7yah, cuz all football fans love a girl in arm warmers
8I'm sorry, those arm warmers are ridiculous.
9If by "great ice breaker" you mean "great way to help everyone else at the party bond over making fun of you," then I totally agree. Otherwise, WTF.
10As a fashion-loving girl who also loves football with a passion, this post is mildly insulting. First of all, plenty of women dress up to watch football (although it's more predominant in the South with college football, there are plenty of NFL ladies who show up looking stylish). Also, the point isn't to dress up to catch a man, it's to show support for your team. Find a cute top in your team's colors, a pair of jeans or slacks, heels, and a matching handbag (or a handbag with your team logo on it). Maybe even some logo jewelry, or just something basic. And for heaven's sake, learn how the game is played and actually watch it with half a clue. I'm pretty sure a guy would like that over a girl who sits around bored but perks up during halftime.
Arm warmers say "football" in the same way that Britney Spears "nailed" the sporty look when she wore tubesocks on her arms during that Super Bowl performance a few years back! Ugh.
I think I'd be more inclined dress in team colors -- fall sweater (like mens-inspired cardigan) and short skirt would do just fine. Could still be very casual, but feminine and fun.
11i would say just wear a cute outfit using your favorite team's colors.
(ex: for the eagles, i wore a fantastic green sweater from H&M and sliver flats)
men will get it. they get colors.
arm warmers are just a little too avril lavigne for me.

13Wow, I was about to comment that arm warmers for a football game is completely ridiculous, but apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that
Anyways, how could you eat yummy greasy football food in those? They'd be covered in wing sauce by halftime.
And even if the point was cute and casual and NOT football, considering probably EVERY other person there will be wearing a team shirt and jeans, cute and casual might still look pretty silly. Anyways, no boy at a football party will be paying attention to what you're wearing. You could probably show up naked and still get less attention than the TV.
14I'm sorry Fab, but any look with arm warmers is tacky and awful. Ditch them and wear a football jersey like one of the guys. That'll catch their attention for sure.
15I agree with Loudserenity!
16Wow how about everyone back off fab for a second. Arm warmers can definitely be tough to pull off, but someone like fab totally can. She's just trying to be a bit more creative than wearing "team colors" and or a "team jersey".
17"men will get it. they get colors." that cracks me up!! haha
18ok i just ordered those arm warmers. it's funny - i have half a million leg warmers and never thought to use them as arm warmers, but since i have all colors except for charcoal, i got those
i think that there's something to be said about looking all sporty spice (which my
friends all call me sometimes), but sadly when you're competing with football, even your outfit won't grab a guy's attention. at least you'll feel cute about yourself!
19Ah, yes, arm-warmers. For all those times your forearms are just freezing but your biceps and shoulders are on fire. Oh, ridiculousness...
Also isn't half-time for watching the highlights of the other games you haven't been following (or able to follow because they aren't shown in your area)?
20
21No, thanks. I think they're absurd. I'll just wear a long-sleeve top.
22Holy crap girls, they're just armwarmers. No need to cut Fab down because of it!
23
24Two lists, (one with, one without arm warmers,) and then one purse I felt needed sharing... CHeck it out!
