You may not recognize the face of Grasie Mercedes now, but after you get to know her cool personal style, you won't forget it.

Grasie is a Dominican-born actress, on-air host, producer, and wardrobe stylist. She's worked as a producer for MTV (probably where she met her longtime boyfriend and MTV host Damien Fahey), and her passion for fashion landed her a job as a stylist for American Eagle. But enough about her career and more about her style.

Whenever I see Grasie at a red carpet event or at Fashion Week, I am drawn to her outfit. From girlie floral dresses to sharp rompers and leather jackets, she knows how to stand out from the crowd. She always looks put together without being over the top. What I most admire is that she understands the concept of tempering super girly pieces with dark colors and boyish accents.
