The 70s are back! What with wide legged jeans in full force and now high-waisted jeans, it is clear the skinny and low rise have competition. I am elated - you all know by now I have a thing for the carefree styles of the dazed & confused decade. While the high waist was around long before the 70s, try the 50s, it was given sex appeal in the decade of disco. I prefer this look worn with a wide leg, it just complements any body way better. Either way, if you've got the feelin' go for it!

I'm not sure I like this trend
I believe they are pretty hard to wear , not everybody can look
good in them , you have to know how to wear them
1Haha, Fab I just put those Grey Ants in my ADC look today!
2Cute if you're a stick figure. Scary if you have any amount of curves. So I'll pass.
"Party like a rock star, pound like a porn star, play like an all star!"
3I'm torn on this trend... the high waist will help hold in my love handles, but emphasize my tummy. What to do, what to do?
4I agree with the other commenters- if you have an ass, or a even a little bit of stomach pooch, I dont think these are a good idea.
5I'm so used to my super low rise jeans that I'm scared to part with them.
6This trend looks amazing on tall people, but I'm sure they'd look awful on a short arse like me.
Hmmm.. actually this might be fun

i love my low rise wide legs. high pants hurt my belly! and i'm pretty skinny!
8Cute! Anything to get rid of the skinny pants, you know not everyone can wear them!
9Hi lassies. Actually I recommend this look for a curvier figure - look at who's modeling them above: Ciara & J Lo, who both have some junk in the trunk! Plus, it tucks in the tummy. It's at least worth trying on a pair because this trend carries over into the Fall! xo
10i agree with fab sugar about the figure debate..i think the wide leg can disguise a bigger tummy/thigh area...no more muffin top! i really like this trend
11I have bought several pairs of these jeans. I also like my low rise jeans.
12I want to try it, only where should I look?
13I have a really short torso and a huge bosom, so there's no way I'd wear these. I don't love them, either way.
14I could wear these ... as long as I put them on in the morning and didn't eat food for the rest of the day!
15I feel like high waisted pants (or even pants that sit just slightly below the waist, as opposed to low rises) make flat butts look terrible! I have to wear low rise or else my butt just disappears. Also I think it makes butts look really droopy and long.
16I love high waisted pants, although I love my extreme low rise I cant wait to go by a pair of those bad boys.
17That is certainly true, GreenSkittlesGal, but I say embrace the flat butt look (all the high-fashion models have flat tushes) for the sake of fashion! I sure do. I am actually wearing high-waisted jeans today and yes, my flat butt does look pretty darn flat, but I could care less cause it still looks stylish and current. I'm not saying embrace the flat-butt look every single day, but don't be scared to do it once in a while. Although some males may not appreciate the look, you know some fashionable gals will and that's more of a compliment in my book because girls get fashion and most guys don't.
18Hmmm Fab I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one because I dont think this look is flattering on either Ciara or J-lo. Wide leg- yes. High waist- no.
19Of course everyone knows their body and what looks good so stick to what makes you comfy! That's what it's all about.
20The look is insanely cute, and a flat booty will do me a lot of good.
21i have my cheap mondays, glad to know they're still in fashion
22I love the look but i don't want my tush looking any flatter than it already is, Thank you, but I know, skinny as I am, I can make anything look hot! I'll still pass on a flatter derriere!
23In a magazine I read that these create curves. I think it was in Marie Claire.
24Ciara looks so freakin good in them! I don't know if I would be able to pull them off, but I would sure love to try!
25i looove them, actually. I'm just worried that it would be hard to find a top.
26Yeah they might get rid of the dreaded "muffin top", but on a girl whos not stick thin I can imagine someone getting "mommy gut"(when you have this huge bump under the button to the crotch) and thats not attactive. I can see it hiding a small pooch but, I just cant see how these would be flattering on anyone whos not under a size 4????
27i don't know. i dón't think they are very youthful looking.
28i think this look has to grow on you. when i first started seeing it, i was not a fan at all, but the more i see it and the more i see different variations, the more i wanna try it!
29Can't pull this off sadly, since my legs are uber short. The Diesel pair in their catalogue's so cool but really hard to wear.
30I think these look good or curvy girls...the high waist balances hips and thighs. Just make sure you go wide legged if you're curvy. Also, short people can pull them off because they elongate the leg--just get some tall shoes for crying out loud.
VRS
31i don't like it.. I'm very used to wear low waist jeans
32I couldn't wear them!
33I can just see saddle bags being accentuated and undesirable areas highlighted. Also, I am short and it just wouldn't work for me.
I would have a fear of getting the front butt wearing these type of pants!!
Best worn wide-legged over skinny. I think they only look good worn by someone with a svelte figure. Definitely not for someone with curves.
34Eeek only the real thin look good in this trend.
35This is one trend that I don't think I'll be getting into.
36My mom will be so happy.
37There Mom jeans.....
38I W0ULD NEVER R0CK THESE BAD BABIES! I'D BE EMBARRASSED 2 G0 0UTSIDE! THEY'RE CUTE 0N CERTAIN PE0PLE, BUT N0...
39Please no!
40no, no, never but i always said i would never follow alot of trends and i end up being a slave to fashion
41slowly but surely they will take them away
Oh NO, no, please, make this trend just go away!
42ah boo another trend that only suits the ultra skinny
43Most of us saw Jessica Sipmson. None of us liked it. Experiment failed...
For me, although I can freely wear anything I like, high waist is just a big NO.
44Not too bad.
45I like them.. But I think tall people look best in them.
46If you have a well endowned behind surely it looks massive!!
47Jeans not sure, but
48high-waist on pencil skirt will look fab! ^___^
Totally flatteribg, I've worn them and LOVE them, much easier to wear than low rise too, no thongage hanging out, but you HAVE to wear a proper fitting thong
49I only like them with a wide leg though, but that's just me I dress very 60's/70's
these jeans are a hot seller on my website.
I am in love with tham and will ahve them in junior plus sizes soon
