Sometimes, all I want is a simple bag. Sounds easy enough, but you'd be surprised with the number of nasties I've run into lately. Some designers tend to mistake simplicity for drab, but not Jasmin K. Her handbags evoke a cool, modern aesthetic without looking busy. Succinct and sexy.
Jasmin's newly launched line encompasses a casual lux attitude and I'm loving it. My favorite is the Tia Shoulder Bag ($310). I like the slouchy shape and better yet, it's affordable! Most of her bags range from $150 to $300, which is not bad for a handcrafted piece. I suggest you nab one before they go mainstream.

1i love the metallic tote, but the rest looks rather cheap ... something you'd find at ann taylor loft or express. i'd want to see the tote in person, though - sometimes they look far better in pictures
2how exciting! I own the Dean clutch and I've been eyeing the Tia shoulder bag. I think the ~$300 price tags are pretty reasonable given the quality of the bags. I'm a snob about quality, I don't do H&M/Express bags. But something sold at BR or even a DKNY/Cole Haan is kinda boring. You can't see in the picture, but the Dean has this chic hot pink lining that gives it edge. It's my fav clutch right now.
3I'll pay $100 for quality, but not $300 - it does not cost that much to make a quality handbag AND make a profit - people are just greedy, which I'm fine with, but don't try to tell me your stuff is "affordable"...
4oooh i like simplicity and this is something different for the season since we've been seeing a lot of bags with studs, fringe or just different types of distress. i like the little hobo shaped one there. i might have to do a bit more research to see what others there are that i could consider. i always like to find things that aren't 'mainstream' just yet.
5these purses are beautiful, unique and high quality. you can't see the full details in the pictures, but they are really gorgeous in person-definitely worth checking out. i can't wait to see what comes out for the holidays...
6Picked up the clutch in black at a shopping party recently. LOVE IT! Black purses are usually not my style (*yawn*), but the shape is unique and edgy. I carry it when i'm in my all-in-black mood. There was a barrel shaped bag in eggplant that was cool too...maybe a christmas gift to myself!
7i can't believe the metallic tote i bought at my fav bag store is spotlighted on fabsugar! i love my new tote. i use it all the time for work and play. it's been great. i love that it's so unique. i've gotten so many compliments on it. the style and quality is definitely worth the $. i am always looking for new bags and designers. definitely keeping my eye out for jasmin k bags to see what else i will be adding to my collection.
