Fashion fans gathered at the Bowery Hotel in New York City last night for an exclusive event honoring 2006 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winning designers Doo-Ri, Thakoon and Rodarte for their collaboration with Gap Inc..
It has been reported that the soiree was hosted by Vogue editors Virginia Smith and Meredith Melling Burke. Stylish attendees included Anna Wintour, Tory Burch, Caroline Trentini, Hillary Rhoda, Ivanka Trump and lots more.

3the gap has not impressed me at all for a while.
4The Gap is a horrible company--their policies, employee treatments and practices are borderlining cruel(including retail workers and overseas practices). Not a great company....all they rely on is their "ads".
And Product Red is a great idea but truly it is a tax right-off for them and they get more business by having the product. And only 50% of the PROFIT goes to Aids, tuberculosis, etc. in Africa, why not 75-80% of the PROCEEDS. It's pretty ridiculous what kind of tactics that company has.
5Wall Street Journal online reported this morning that the winning Gap designs will debut on the cover of Vogue. Still it's no consolation for the loss of Forth and Towne
So sad...such a poor business decision.
The Forth and Towne clerks say that the stores will be selling everything, including lamps and mirrors. Everything will go. Those stores are totally cute, I'm on it!

7i don't really like gap, but i like thakoon....
8I like the clothes in British Gap more than American Gap for some reason - the designs ARE different and it's a shame they don't have a bit of both in each. Anna Wintour always looks like she's hiding some horrible secret in her photos ... I think it's her expressions!
9i like their wide leg low rise pants for work. I'm short so I like that they have petite sizes and they look cute with polos.
10BTW, i hate anna's black stocking with those shoes!
Anna's biography is deathly boring. I got it as a birthday gift last year - someone thought that I'd be uber interested in her but no, I'm not.
11I prefer British Gap as well. I think it's less dull.
