I actually live in flip flops year round, but even if you don't, you are still going to need a pair for your final weekend of Summer, which is coming up faster than you want to believe.

You really can't go wrong with a pair of Reefs. I have two pairs, both of which I have had since college. They have been literally everywhere with me over the past 10 years and they are good as new. Well, maybe not brand-new, but you get the idea. You can buy them here for $19.95

Another great option are Havaianas. They are super comfortable and come in all kinds of fun color options. I also have a pair of these and I love them. A little softer on your foot than the Reefs. I have not had them for ten years, so I can't attest to their longevity, but so far so good. Available here for $10.95.
For a daytime outing, not necessarily the beach, these Jack Rogers Navajo Sandals are everywhere this summer. Available here for $79.

the Havaianas are adorable! I'm definitely picking up a pair.
1i actually find flip flops crazy uncomfortable, i don't know why, sensitive toes perhaps.
2My favorite pair is these blue ones from J.Crew. The sole itself is so cushon-ey (not the rubber kind) that those like itself are hard to come by. My "flip flop" of choice is a Croc.
3And I am not referring to the ones shown.
4I like my flip flops just like I like my couches: cheap, comfortable and very stylish. So it's not that mind blowing that I already own a pair of Havaianas.
5Gimmie 3 and 4, the first two look uncomfy ... But, I am the flipflop queen. I have "Reefs" in every color, I love them !
6I don't like flip-flops I just like flats or heels or chucks.

15I have something around 12 pairs of flip flops. My favorites, comfort-wise, are from L.L. Bean. But I also love my Ann Taylor pair and my Aeropostale pair. Both very comfy and affordable!
Of the pairs shown here, I would go with the J. Crew. They look the most comfortable.
16The JCrews are the cutest and most usable. I must say that my Reefs are the most comfortable sandals in the world.
