The fashion world has officially gone gaga over Tory Burch's Audrey flats. But I have a feeling these Tory Burch Silver Lucite Audrey Ballet Flats, $225, may not be so well received. After reading your feedback from my post about plastic handbags I don't know if Tory has another winner on her hands. My experience with plastic shoes = blisters. 'Nuf said.
P.S. These come in gold too.

i love flats but tend to get blisters so plastic ones probably would not be fun!
Lucite is very chic right now - the fashion industry loves the futuristic look. I think these would look nice with a short, mod dress, maybe sequined or something.
gold would be fab with a short dress.
pretty cute but im not understanding the whole see-thru look. i dunno why people would carry around thousand dollar bags that are made of clear plastic. just a trend.
I agree-- Lucite is hot right now and I think these would be cute with the right outfit. I have to say, though, these are the only Tory Burch flats I've ever been fond of.
I'd still be scared of the blisters!
Cute, but kinda think they would be a sweaty, blistery nightmare to actually wear.
yea these are really cute but im afraid of the blisters. remember jelly shoes....yea plastic and LOTS of blisters.
I love these because I love see through and silver.
ewww i dont like it
I like them. I think they're cute!
did anyone else see the completely glittery silver tori burch flats on the site? SUPER fun.
I think these are cute in theory, but I'm not loving the medallion on top. It appears to have a cross on it, and I prefer a more secular shoe.
They look cute but probably wouldn't feel cute
I have seen so many girls in the city with these cute flats. I'm not too sure about the see throughness, although I could start liking it.
I am undecided - the shoes themselves look really cute, but practically I wouldn't wear them because of the plastic. Too many blisters and your feet just wouldn't be able to breathe at all!
Hate these! People would see my nasty feet!! Ha, kidding.
They look kinda cute, but the fact that they are plastic sounds very uncomfortable
I'm not a fan of flats, but those are okay.
Not so bad.
I'm not big on the plastic trend but I do like these shoes. I think they're cute!
cute
I feel like if I'm going to bear that much foot, I'd rather be in sandals. At least my feet could breathe! I just don't see Lucite as practical on feet - especially if it's going to be a hot day.
i LOVE her flats but these would hurt...
Those would be sweaty nightmares- at least jelly shoes were cheap.
"Well, f*** me gently with a chainsaw."
Smooshed sweaty toes are not something that I want to show off. I love her regular flats but these are a big NO for me.
They just remind me of those tacky prom shoes that tried to look like Cinderella's glass slipper with rhinestones. Ugh. If they weren't plastic, I'd love them.
I won't be buying those...
they may be uncomfortable but they look cute...well at least without a foot in them!!
undecided
..If you see us in the club we'll be acting real nice
if you see us on the floor you'll be watchin all night..
Sorry but those look futuristic trashy. Not for me, bleh.
Would they really cause blisters?
So my boyfriend decided to take a trip to Neiman Marcus and kinda surprise me with these. He called me and told me he was getting them cuz he thought they were cute, and he knew I'd been wanting some TB Revas. So I went online and saw them, and thought "jeez another pair of shoes, I'll have to exchange." But in person they are sooooo cute, and when I put em on, that sealed the deal for me. So cute and comfy. I haven't walked out of my bedroom in them yet. But bandaid has made some new stick for blister prevention. It is supposed to work great! But these babies are to die for! I love them!
Also, I think they would work best with skinny or straight leg jeans. No cropped or dressed.... I think they are a bit much for that.
These look good for a night out, but I am not into the plastic fantastic trend.
