It was Fab at first sight when I laid eyes on these Giuseppe Zanotti Fringed Leather Boots ($1,025). I can't stop staring. J'adore how the witchy-inspired cut is offset with the folksy fringe — I die. But should I spend that much money on a trend-setting piece?

I'm loving the new US Topshop site. Now, I can purchase these Topshop Amore Fringe Lace Boots ($160) without paying the ridiculous international shipping fee. My feet are thanking the shorter heel, and I love the juicy, plum color.

Wow Fab, that's a pretty spot-on low price version -- great detective work!
1I've always believed that fringe is wrong, very very wrong.
2I know. I saw these on topshop.com a couple days ago but they don't have black.
3I'm sorry, but there's no comparison. I normally don't like fringy shoes, but I loved the Giuseppe Zanotti as soon as I saw them. The cheap ones on the other hand...look like all the other boots that I DON'T like. Too bad they cost more than my rent.
4No, the topshop version has that funky rounded toe and a lower heel, which makes them look clunky.
5sorry, I don't like either...
6I like fringed boots, but not these ones...although it IS a great look-for-less.
7Nine West has a great pair that's waaaaay more afordable! I think I paid less than $50.
8yikes. neither for me.
