A 25th anniversary is celebrated with silver; the 75th, with diamonds. But what about the 85th? According to Gucci, the way to celebrate your 85th anniversary is with a very expensive, very busy handbag.

The "85th Gucci" limited edition hobo bag crams just about every design detail the Italian label is known for—including bold plaid, fine leather, the double-G logo, and equestrian-inspired hardware—onto a single $4,795 handbag. What do you guys think? Over the top? Or classic in the making?

Uhmmn, I am a Gucci lover, but this is a bit extreme for little ole P-cubed...If I were wealthy, hell yes I would have one, but since I am not, I think I will pass this go-round....
I'm not feeling it either.
siren6...I will second that.
Not a great fan of the Gucci GGGGG's anyway...so played out
Blech. I hate logos. I hate cluttered looking designs. Soooo, I pretty much hate this bag.
Too busy.
Not feeling that at all.
Hate it. Maybe it is worth having because it's limited, but it's so ugly it wouldn't be worth it to a regular, non-uber wealthy person.
Gucci has went down since the early nineties and this bag only proves that. Only buy Gucci knockoff's and you won't regret anything. That being said this hobo is fug.
Yes, because you're too blind to really tell that this is fugly.
Limited edition bags are always hit or miss. You are buying a collector's item not a fashion statement.
hate it.
Love it. I think it would look great with a sleek black outfit and maybe a cute scarf around the neck.
ugly
Um, ick. However, the saddle leather version is sweet (and by sweet I mean totally hot). The equestrian hardware is awesome.
This purse was definitely designed by a committee at a mandatory meeting. Put me on the "hate it" list.
I'm not a fan of this bag but there are alot more 85th limited edition ones on the website which are really nice.
nope, too much ugly...
