We've covered miniskirts, denim skirts and kimono dresses, but one Fall skirt trend that we have not covered is Bubble Skirts and Dresses. They were all over the runway this year, and they are sure to pop up on the street as well. These skirts are meant to be worn above the knee and with heels. You can also pair them with leggings.
Here are a few bubble skirts and dresses:

I really only like the bubbles as cocktail dresses.
1Me no likely...these were around in the UK early this year and I never liked it then...not flattering at all.
2Ehw. I don't know if I like these. I've seen this in cocktail dress form and I liked the bubble look. Not so much as a skirt.
3I need something to downsize the buttocks... not make it appear bigger
4These would pretty much emphasize my hips and ass, like Popstar said. Not my ultimate goal.
5Bubble skirts have been in for a while now, I think.
6Mandee - I think they were on the Fall collection runways, which we started seeing February, right?
7I have a skirt almost exactly like the Maria Bonita one and I love it.
8Yep, jenn... but I remember seeing them last fall in the malls... hmm...
9HATE IT!!! (Misha Baton can rock it though.)
10I wore a bubble skirt to my 8th grade dinner dance in 1988. Some of these are pretty cute but I don't think I can wear one. Just out of principle.
First comes the bubble skirt, then the banana clip. it's followed by big puffy socks, and finally, that big plastic ring that we tucked the sides of our t-shirts through. No thanks!
11eww..
12EXACTLY nam4anad. These are the principles I'm standing on, too. This is why I will NOT be going with the ankle boots or vests. Period.
Did anybody read Ellen Barkin's interview in August Vogue? She had all these rules for dressing your age and with style. One of them cracked me up - if you wore it the first time, you're too old to wear it when it comes back in.
13Eewwy. Bodies ain't shaped like bubbles! We shouldn't try to look like a bubble!
14some of them are ok. but man. the peach and white one are just eww.
15already own one
16After my head un-stuff's lemme comment...they all look the same thus far...
17I have one like that and I love it.
18Thinking about a dress too. I think I even like the dress better.
