I have seen this video I don't know how many times; especially since I was "Simply Irresistible" for Halloween this past year. I tell ya: it's a very easy, cheap costume and it's really fun! The boys love it. I mean, wasn't this a total male fantasy? A GQ guy surrounded by femme fatales in tight black mini dresses with pouty red lips who would sway their hips, and shoulders, from side-to-side. And then you have the dancing posse - I actually memorized this routine for my costume (I go all out on Halloween). I suppose we could do without the wet dancers in goggles and the freak train of purple mini skirts but the rest is...simply irresistible.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the FABTV.

I absolutely love this video. Don't know why because I'm not really into music videos, maybe its the song.
1I love this video!!!! At my Senior Dinner Dance in high school the theme was Time After Time which of course is the song to one of the coolest dance routines EVER. So when they played that song at the end I basically did the entire routine from Romy and Michele's High School Reunion- I looked like a damn fool but it was funny
2That girls in the back with the black dresses scare me with their dancing.
3Even though the girls are kind of objectified here, it's still tongue-in-cheek. Just a timeless video. Robert Palmer is definitely a ladies' man here!
4Cool video! Thanx for the memories
5I have always loved this video! If you were a teen of the 80s, it was the most awesome thing EVER!!
6Jess, you are SO AWESOME for doing the Romi & Michele routine!
7Oooohhh I totally thought I was going to dress like one of these girls when I got older. But then again I also thought I was going to be Fly Girl on In Living Color! HA!I love this trip down memory lane.
8Hahaha! That was funny.
9OMG! The memories that brought back!!! That was all the rage when I was in high school! We all looked like that for Halloween, glad to see the tradition still carrying on!!!
10(still wish I had the body...)
