Supple, soft, textural — I can't resist. Yes, simply irresistible suede is high maintenance — so it's best to wear it now, before rain drops — but it's worth it. In case of a downpour, make sure to weatherproof your puppies and wear rain boots to and from your destination. I mean, you wouldn't want to tarnish these Jimmy Choo Glint suede boots ($995), would you? Hell no.

5the Jimmy Choos make me want to scream in delight they are so gorgeous!!! Actually, I love almost all of the boots up there--the Givenchys, the Anthropologie pair, the Nine Wests, and the Guess pair...if only some were in faux suede...

I recently scotchguarded a pair of toffee suede Gucci knee high boots and they didn't get a single wet spot on them when I got caught unexpectedly in the rain! I was afraid to try it (conflicting reports on the internet), but decided to try two light coats (don't soak) letting them dry in between. Not only did they not get wet spots, the suede didn't change colour from the scotchguard, and it seems to be protecting them from dirt as well.
7those Jimmy Choos are awful! I have these amazing flat black Steve Madden suede booties that I absolutely love , so I know I like suede boots , and the purple 9 West ones are adorable, but most of these are not really my taste...
