Capes are such a fun way to dress up an evening look. I've actually collected a few, mostly faux and all vintage, in my lifetime. This Anna Sui Mongolian Fur Cape ($1,575) is interesting, to say the least. The thick fur is sure to keep you warm, but doesn't it remind you of Cruella De Vil?

8I love it. It would look really cool with a black Rodarte-ish gown. Mongolian fur is sheep or goat fur correct? They don't actually kill the animal for the fur. In fact, those animals benefit from having their fur shaved. So calm down animal activist freaks.

11It's cute with that dress. That cape/poncho shape give a nice proportion to little dresses and skirts.

14Fleur, that's not necessarily true. Many animals shaved/sheared for their fur aren't handled carefully and get cuts, scabs, and infections. Plus, animals like this aren't exactly let alone to live a fulll life. Once they pass their peak productivity, they're slaughtered. Besides, what's REALLY the difference between killing an animal and giving the animal a short, painful, abused life anyways?

I don't wear real fur, but to each there own( I'm not going to throw paint on you either). But beyond my stance on fur this thing would be ugly as hell even if it was faux fur so Cruella!
