Seeing Anne Hathaway at Elle Magazine's 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in her standout platforms makes me wonder why more woman don't take the plunge on the red carpet. Yes, the look is head-to-toe Spring '09 Marc Jacobs, but given his successful collection, I would wear the entire eclectic look, too. And, I would wear it ASAP, as Anne did. The youthful yet sophisticated Lurex-striped blue dress has the ease of a shirt dress but sharp shoulders — completely modern. Color is woven throughout and catapulted via the sash belt. Anne's hair is slightly messed, delivering a nonchalant attitude. And back to the shoes, bold, witty, Fab.

4wow, I love this! the dress is gorgeous and, in my opinion, a universally flattering style. the color is one of my favorites, again very flattering, and such a chic tone made fun with the metallic stripes. the sash is so ethnic and pretty, and I love how well it works with the dress. and those shoes! I love how they don't quite match, and the two colors are both fab. the only thing I don't like is her streaked hair - it looks like she was trying to match the metallic striping of the dress and sash - but that gorgeous smile redeems it...
