The blazer amazes me. It is a preppy staple that also lends itself to a rock n' roll vibe. Kate loves them, as does Kirsten, and they look anything but preppy when they wear them. Honestly, I love the look but I never find myself oozing for one - and I love jackets! They may not be my style but I'm sure lots of you can pull off the blazer bad-ass look. blazers are perfect for a polished look, but they're so hard to buy b/c they need to fit JUST RIGHT - otherwise the lines look awful ... not clean and sharp like they're supposed to.
1I prefer jackets too, but I've got a couple of blazers, I wear them only with jeans, not like the rebecca taylor look... It's too formal for me.

13I really think it depends on the individual fit. I have two- one that has been only worn once and another that I throw on as a jacket when it's a little chilly out, and it can go either way, casual or dressy depending on what it is paired with.
