We're no longer going to see those long, tan Brazilian limbs of Gisele strutting down the Victoria's Secret runway. It was recently said the supermodel has decided to cease her relationship with the lingerie giant because it wouldn't increase her $5 million-a-year salary (do we sense a diva-ish attitude here?!). Apparently, Victoria's Secret doesn't see Gisele's quitting as a loss because they have five new hotter and younger girls debuting next year. If I were Gisele, I'd say: "Bring it on!"

1She seems like a diva to me. You know, I read somewhere that V.S. said something like... we have 4/5 younger hotter models coming in, why would we pay her that ridiculous amount... or something like that, but don't quote me.

That's so sad, she was one of my favorite VS models. (although nothing beats Karolina Kurkova for me) It's going to be weird to look through my VS catalogs and not see Gisele.
4Compared to Gisele, Adriana, Heidi, Tyra and the other "big name" VS models, some of their new ones in the catalogues are just fugly. I don't think VS will take a hit by letting her go but Gisele def. has a name in the top of the modeling world.

11Poor Gisele, she's being kicked to the curb again. Always people saying there are other young hot models out there. Like LEO now dating BAR, who is just Gisele's younger version. AND now VS joins the "Gisele is too old, let's replace her" gang. Poor models. Replaced when they hit their upper 20s. Hahahaha!!!!
12She should definitely not count this as a loss and get into bigger, better things. It'd be great to see her do some acting, or even just doing voice-overs. (I don't know what's sexier, her or her voice.

13bad move. a model will never get 5 million guarenteed a year. if you think about it she did relatively little work...maybe 5 shoots for catalogs, three or four commercials (and those aren't all her), one runway show a year. stupid girl...that was easy money. id have beat the VS horse till it was dead....like tyra did. that was smart
14$5 million a year? That's a decent amount but geez actresses get paid $15 per movie, and THAT'S ridiculous. I still love G.
155 mil sounds like plenty to me for strutting and posing a couple times a year...goodness..i would have definitely stayed and milked that one

who cares! I have never liked her - she seems very stuck-up - and, while she does have an amzing body that's perfect for VS, her face just bugs me...
