I'm sure it was a raging afterparty because it looks like our Hills heroine put on a successful Lauren Conrad Collection runway show last night. Her Spring lineup was inspired by the beauty of Spring. OK, that's sort of ambiguous — allow me to elaborate. With her usual flirty silhouettes, Lauren upped the fabrics, detailing and prints for Spring. She showed an array of solid jersey dresses, both cocktail and maxi, but there was plenty beside those usual suspects. I quite fancy the artsy floral and beige-and-white chiffon polka-dot prints. One thing about Lauren is she manages to deliver pieces that are both sexy and girlie. Sexy: The white ruched formfitting dress. Girlie: The ladylike separates.
Accessories were also highlighted adding some Spring flair. I've never been a fan of rosettes — worn here as headbands — but I am a fan of geometric bangles. Lauren came out to warm round of applause in the end, the only way from here is up.

I like her spring line a lot better then her others. I may actually have to buy one of them
I will have to admit that I did see one or two pieces that I liked, but I still think I can find similar looks elsewhere and for a lot less cash.
I'm seriously shocked that this girl even has a clothing line. Everything looks like something out of Forever 21. It's like this every season. She dresses really cute, no doubt, but she's lacking creativity in the design department. Somebody send her back to FIDM
ok its still pretty basic and over priced but at least one or two pieces are slightly more than just a solid jersey dress. maybe by her 10th collection she'll start to actually design. maybe.
terrible models
Boring b*tch.
hmmm she seems to be "designing" clothes that are already out there...
I'm sorry but these clothes are so basic and boring. I can't believe this girl has a clothing line.
There were a few pieces that are original. She is improving but she will get better with time and age.
There were a few pieces that stood out to me as something that I might actually consider buying. This collection is way better than her other ones and im sure that she will keep improving.
you know i wouldnt mind if lauren conrad maybe made these clothes and just sold it on the internet, but its almost insulting to have her own spot in fashion week. what, is wet seal and forever 21 having their own show too?
I have to admit I really like a few of these but it does feel like I've seen them before. I'm loving the long blue floral print dress..Hey, it's a beautiful print! Overall, she did a good job but we all know she will do better in time!
Lame
I do like a few of these actually. I haven't liked her other lines and agree they have been quite boring. But there's some on here I finally like, and would wear....if only I could afford her prices. Too expensive!
I dont intend to be a hater because i do think these clothes are quite pretty, but not new or particularly inventive. It is a step up from former lines. I think she just needs to go away somewhere and get inspired by something.
too much hype over a mediocre designer... her celebrity is the only things that give this press, not her talent.
The prints were a little more refreshing to see, but the styling looked too similar to her last Fashion Week show. Like others said, cute but nothing completely original or write home about.
Zzzzzzzz!!!
I like lauren but id have to agree with the above posts. I've seen these dresses 100 times and I'm sure all of us could put out a clothing line like this as well. i dont have a fashion background but i think these dresses are pretty basic in terms of the style, cuts and lines.
I love the blue floral dress (the first image)! Target had a similar dress with an edgier pattern out a little while ago, though. But it's still super cute!
Yawn
This isn't anything I haven't seen from her or another designer. Next.
Can someone let Nicole Richie design, please? I just something interesting to wake me up.
The flora pattern is very pretty. Her clothes are expensive because they are manufactured in America. If she decided to make them in an 3rd world country, the prices would be slashed by 1/3 but at least she has a conscious
Ewww!
Still boring, but I like the looks of this collection better than anything else I've seen by her so far. I love the little mini-dress in the top right photo.
I still can't believe she is taken seriously. Her designs aren't bad but I wouldn't say they were runway worthy., Still I'd wear them if they were cheap.
Some are cute but I still dont think shes an amazing designer or anything. It looks a lot like Forever21 stuff.
I love LC, so it pains me to say this but YAWN.
The flower print is fab
Every time something is posted about LC, all these negative comments pop up.
She's not doing anything wrong imo, why criticize her all the time?
I believe the point of commenting on the site is to voice your opinion whether it's a positive or negative one. Everyone here has the right to post how they feel about the collection.
Another new collection from LC, but still nothing new. She really needs to ditch the maxi dresses once and for all... once you've seen one, you've seen them all. As usual, I definitely won't be buying anything from her collection. In my mind, none of her stuff should be worth more than $50, especially when most of it is made of jersey, unoriginal, and a Forever 21 copy.
there were some nice things. bt i wont spend all that money
on something so simple and not worth it. I love Lauren. I
just wish she were more creative, and different.
LC always looks super fab on The Hills, but her collections say otherwise. Her work's been improving (aka doesn't bore me to tears), but nothing truly stands out enough for me to shell out big bucks. Yawn... no more maxis please!!! I do like the short floral dress though.
I have no problem being a "hater" because she is a talentless moron who creates (and I use that word very loosely since I know for a fact that a lot of these celebrity designers don't actually design, they just approve and give their thoughts on other people's designs and slap their unfortunately famous name - I have a friend that goes to FIDM and works with people in the biz that have worked on several celebrity designers' lines) wayy to expensive, unoriginal forever 21 knockoffs - well, I'm not supporting tacky lies...
Some of Lauren's designs are intriguing but a lot of her things remind me of Rachel Pally designs.
i love that her collection is mostly dresses - cause that's all i like to wear in the spring and summer. the prints are really things that i would wear myself and it's refreshing to know that it'll be sold at Nordstroms and other places that i can get to rather than just the little stores in LA
I THINKS THEY ALL LOOK GREAT..THEY TRY VERY HARD..THAT ALL THE MATTER...
