The weather hasn't yet reached extreme temperatures, but it's always good to think ahead, especially when it comes to outerwear. That way, you're not stuck wearing a drab coat because you were slack to buy the one you loved a month ago.
That's precisely what my mentality was when I got this Banana Republic Wool Trenchcoat ($250). Actually, Gwyneth Paltrow's slick military coat reminded me that I need a new cool coat to fight the cold. I immediately turned to BR because it always delivers outstanding outerwear (the gray one I got two years ago still looks new). I highly recommend this one.

1I love trenchcoats!! I could never own enough. I own about ten in a variety of colors.
2Yeah I usually get them from thrift stores since I can get a real wool coat for 99 cents. That helps since I'm a college student and my parents stopped paying for anything other than tuition.

8cute coat, love BR's outerwear, but I just can't get over the prices - I will pay $100 for a quality coat that will last me a long time, but more than that?! I'm just too cheap...
