The pendulum continues to swing on Gossip Girl. This time, with a Cruel Intentions twist. Though every day in this life is melodramatic, there were many ups and downs tonight. Blair and Chuck continue to taunt each other — now the croquet ball is in Blair's court. Poor Vanessa continues to be at the mercy of our young sadists, and she even tried her own hand at a little blackmail. Serena's sassiness makes another cameo when her new family attempts to be normal. Oh! And we meet her brother's boyfriend. Lastly, Dan and Nate take their bromance to another level = roomies. Let's see how well you were paying attention to the fashionable details . . .

8I loved the episode, again, last night! I loved the Cruel Intentions/Liasons Dangereuse angle, after all that is one of the premises that the show was founded on, and I wish they'd dragged it out more, instead of wrapping it all up right away.
9I mean, I wouldn't mind Chuck seducing Vanessa. Prolong Chuck and Blair getting together as long as possible. It'll make their getting together all the more exciting!
Besides I want more Michelle Tractenberg and a new hot AND cool guy (let's face it the duke just wasn't very cool...physically sexy though).
