While Buzz can give you the complete lowdown, I'm here to remind you to simply watch. Stylista premieres tonight on the CW at 9 p.m. We got a too-short taste of fashion television via The Rachel Zoe Project, and Project Runway has concluded, so there's room for a new guilty pleasure, yes? I've watched the first couple episodes, and though it's a bit melodramatic, it is entertaining.
P.S. What I secretly love about the show is seeing the fabulous clothes Anne Slowey and the other editors at Elle wear.

4This show is awful! All of these people are tasteless, incompetent, and completely unqualified. I hate that this show is so fake. Stop pretending you're in the Elle office when you're clearly on a sound stage. It's a sad day when someone as influential in the fashion community such as Anne Slowey needs to degrade and mock herself just to gain recognition from a reality show... and a bad one at that.

6I guess I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the show, and will probably give the show a chance. It felt a little contrived in the beginning, but I'm sure it will get better. And yes the boutique owner is a complete nightmare! She must work on her first impression!
7Yay, let's watch someone rich and powerful be a huge, snotty b*tch for an hour every week! If I wanted to experience the kind of holier-than-thou disdain this Slowey person gives off, I'd go pick a fight with my dad. Thanks.
The contestants seem just as bad. "Eeew, your outfit's ugly. Mine is totally hotter. I'm so much hotter and thinner and better than you." Might be tolerable if they weren't all painfully conventional in their ideas about "style" -- and, you know, generally inept.

9LOL That's what I hated about the show I though they Elle people where way over dressed trying too hard to make it Devil Wears Prada! And I'm not sure but doens't Anne walk funny like her feet hurt/wrong size shoe, that was weird.

Not sure if I'll like this or not, but I'll give it a shot sometime. I doubt it will even begin to compare to Project Runway though!
