I've fallen madly in lust with the latest crop of chain handbags. Note the clever intertwining of leather and metal. I like how these chain inserts add a svelte edge to the classic chain handle. This new rendition is still sophisticated, but the leather gives it a rockin' rad attitude. How cool is that?

I have that Calvin Klein bag in black. It's really cute but a warning--wear it with heavy clothing. The chain can dig a bit into your shoulder.
1I bought the Calvin Klein bag in Silver Metallic in the Spring. The price has gone up $40 (when the SA rang it up it was already marked up to $198, but the sticker read $148, so I got it for less). I agree with Diamond. When it's full, the chain can dig a bit. It is a cute bag though...

4I actually never really liked the chain handle - maybe that's just because I've never found a bag with a chain handle that I liked. the Steve Madden one is kind of cool though...
