Ya know, I appreciate Ashley's mature sense of style. But lately, she's taken her monochrome looks too far. Here, she's shopping in New York, but I'd like to know two things: 1) why she's so covered when it clearly looks sunny outside, and 2) why she's wearing all-black when she's not attending a funeral?
I understand that she wants to look sophisticated, and black is definitely a way to achieve that look, but why all black, all the time, Ashley? You're starting to lose outfit creativity in my eyes. You're a young woman and having a pop of color somewhere in your outfit will suit you well. I would have removed the opaque black tights and worn a bright red tank under her jacket. How would YOU wear it?

I would most definitelly not wear all black for shopping, in fact, I rarely wear mostly black outfits during the day. All black or mostly black is OK for me in the evening, but day is for colours, especially if it's a cloudy day.
1I could absolutely not wear such shoes for shopping. All black, on the other end, is ok. That makes look thinner.
2I'd lose the tights and wear a colored show and have a colored tote. All black all the time is BORING!
3Hey Ashley, you really don't need a bodyguard in NYC - half of us don't know who you are the other half doesn't give a crap

4Toto, I have a feeling we're not in America anymore
All black is okay, but she should wear some white in accessories to go with it at least to liven it up. If she's really "daring" maybe some blue.
5If I were her, I would ditch the jacket, lose the tights, and just wear the dress or watever she has underneath all that black and blonde mess, and wear lighter shoes maybe airy sandals.
and i would tie my hair in a ponytail.
Fresh look.
6If I was a freaking billionaire like her, I'd hire a personal shopper to dress me! Better dressed than her sister at least.
7i think the Olsen can wear whatever they want, because they create an icon, they create they own style, and never (oh well, sometimes) copies, so, if she´rs wearing all black, it´s ok
8ok, i jutst forgot one question to her, why black in summer?
9I agree. That child needs some color in her life. Its always black black black black black black. Sweetie, if you have not noticed, its spring! Wear some color and you will look a 100% healthier.
10All black is okay, I do it, but with colorful accessories (i.e., necklaces, earrings, bracelets, shoes, handbag, sunglasses, etc.), or one layered piece of color (tank of color under a black tee).
11Not a fan of all black, especially in summer and during the day.
12too dreary for me.
I wouldn't wear a bit of that outfit, yuck.
133) and why she doesn't wash her hair?
14:hysterical:
I don't think that you're suppose to wear all black while shopping, isn't that against the rule? Is she going througha gothic stage like Angie or something?
15i would keep the jacket, but ditch the flowy top, tights, and horrendous balenciaga shoes for a tight beige tee, skinny jeans, and designer sneakers.
16I cant do all black. I cant do those shoes either. She needs something to break it up, atleast a little colour
17yeah their both getting really boring of late, all black all the time feels like your wearing the same outfit
18I would...Ditch the jacket, tights and shoes. If it's a dress-keep it, if skirt wear a white tank or something and change the shoes to some plain gold/silver gladiator sandles. Also put her hair up...
