Jennifer Rade recently dished about Angelina's custom-made Versace dress, and now the stylist opens up about the actress's latest red carpet look. For the Hollywood Film Festival Awards, Jennifer collaborated with the actress on her sleek, all-black look. Though from afar it looks like a dress, it's actually a Karen Zambos top, Alexis LaMontagna skirt, and Tiffany earrings. "It's two separates that looked great together, clean and simple with a pretty shape, which is what we like," Jen said. Et voilá. I love fashion illusions.
If you think this ensemble is too simple, don't forget what Jennifer said before. While many of us only have a strong eye, strong lip, or strong jawline, Angelina has them all; minimal designs allow her features to shine.

1It looks lovely, and I also agree that simple and classic silhouettes work best for Angelina, as they don't distract from her features. She isn't one of those actresses who needs to dress like a freak or go too flashy to get attention.
2Agreed, but it does get a tad boring seeing her in black dresses all the time...

I gotta say though, she's a star whose style is reasonably accessible. Might not be the same label, but the look itself is possible to recreate without looking bone-in stupid.
5I actually like her simple look. I wear black a lot, its the color I feel most comfortable in and I feel I look best in, so my dresses and such tend to be black or dark. I like how she's toned down and she's changed.
6Black is the most commonly worn color at awards shows and red carpets. She has worn some stunning colors in the last year or so. This simple outfit looks nice and comfortable.

10I love her too but i think it's the time to move on to something other than black! i know that it shows her features better but come on, it's getting boring!
11i can really respect the separates look, but i HATE this look on her. i don't know what it is, if it's the hair or the outfit, but it just isn't nearly as flattering as all the other looks that we've seen on her over the years.
12For me it is the hair. too severe. everything else is perfection.
