Who can you scribe has influenced you? The more I think about it, the more people I could pay tribute to. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked understated stellar at Barnes and Noble promoting their book, Influence. We can't wait to learn all about who influenced the sisters, but we've already been influenced by their style, and business, prowess.
No Olsen is complete without towering heels. Other than Mary-Kate's black double platform Yves Saint Laurent pumps, she chose a professional LBD. Bare legs do her justice and tousled hair is pretty and easy. Ashley stepped it up in gray suede platforms, The Row liquid leggings, and a silky white double pocket blouse. Both Olsens have influenced me, what about you?

I admit they used to aggravate me to no end until about a year and a half ago I saw a spread of them in Vanity Fair (I think) and the article had all these interviews with designers - including Louboutin - talking about how influential these girls are on their fashions. I was pretty shocked to hear that, and started to take notice of these two.
Ashley has always stuck out to me though cuz I can relate!

12I think they are both talented, beautiful women. They have managed to turn their tween image into a mainstream fashion empire. Not many stars can shed their "child star" label... got to give credit to these girls.

15Both of them have great style. I love how minimal yet bold Ashley is. She has a talent of taking a simple piece and making it stand out without even trying. I also love the quirky style of MK she has a talent for taking clothes and making it fun.

17i love them both but mary kate for sure influences me more. i admire her ability to create such outrageous yet glamorous outfits. also she doesnt even care that people outside of the fashion industry call her a disaster. because really she isnt, shes a trend setter. ♥

22Definitely both in the past, but for the past 2 years or so, Ashley is one of my main sources of inspiration for fashion. I think she looks great, she takes some risks, but she is always properly dressed for whatever occasion. I reallllllly like her!
23I don't know...both them have a great, unique sense of style. I chose Mary-Kate though because I think she's more creative.
24I like the way they dress most of the time (and they both look cute in the picture above), but they don't influence me. Although, I really like Ashley's outfit.
25MK annoys me. she seems to go out of her way to seek attention. we rarely see ashley out and about drawing attention to herself, which is why i prefer her. also, i think she actually has style, as opposed to MK who kind of just throws on things. she looks good because she can afford to have great pieces, so whatever she throws on will look good. if i had that kind of money i could roll over and pick something out of my closet in the dark and still look fab.

30i voted too quickly i think because i'm a big fan of both of them. i think that even though there are times that MK looks a bit too out there for me, i've been known to find inspiration from both and love them equally. these days though ashley has been doing it a bit more than MK but that doesn't mean that my love has shifted that much
31I love the way they mix and match styles but end up with their own genre of style. Mary-Kate influences me a little more sometimes with her bohemian and eclectic style.
