I think it's reasonably cute, and I like that she went cazh for an event like this. A full on dress would be much too much.
2Yeah, I agree with emalove. The dress fits her poorly, like she picked it up at Salvation Army and didn't try it on, and the boots don't help either. She went too casual, in my opinion. Or, casual in a bad way.

11the boots make this dress look school-marm-ish and she needs something bigger to glam her up. this also doesn't look like a daytime event. this is wildly inappropriate for night. i could see someone running to the store in this. i'd go to class in this (with flats or a less frumpy boot)...but i'm not an actress.

16i feel like now that i've seen her sooo often on the Rachel Zoe project that i have to assume that any event she's at was styled by RZ. in any event, she's looking put together yet again, and now may can pull off plaid so well.
