I think you can tell by now that I am not really a fan of the recent monochrome looks, which is why I'm frowning at Posh's all red ensemble. The Louis Vuitton skirt and top are gorgeous and fit her really well, but why so matchy matchy with the shoes? Don't get me wrong, I think the YSL pumps are hot, but I would have worn the black. Also, aviators do not complement this ladylike look - do you agree? How would YOU wear it?

I actually think she looks really cute here. However I don't like the shoes at all, whatever color.
I'd exchange the (uncomfortable looking?) top for a ruffle or tie front, breezy cream coloured blouse, tucked in and topped with a patent gold belt. Slap a navy blue swing jacket on top, and perhaps the ever popular Chloe gladiator sandals in place of those too-matchy platforms, and I'd bet set!
...if only I made more money!
Honestly, I love it just the way she is wearing it (minus the aviators). I don't mind the monochrome look at all, and I'm not sure I would like it with black shoes. Plus, it's refreshing to see someone wearing real shoes - I am so sick of the gladiator sandals already as I don't think they flatter anyone.
love the clothes, hate the shoes, HATE HATE HATE the sunglasses. aviators are so boring and played out. i'd throw a kitten heel brown strappy sandal (god, not a gladiator though!) and a pair of tortoise jackie-o's. plus a cute swingy spring bag. and a little more meat on the ol' bones.
I would ditch the top as I think the cut makes her (and just about anyone) look manly, too "muscle top" for me. Keep the skirt and the dress and top it off with a cream drape front spaghetti strap cami/tank or a simple black top- halter, tube or tank. Perhaps a bit of bling like a thick gold bangle or two, keep the shades (they are so "Posh") and add a gold clutch.
i don't mind the monochromatic look - but i hate the tribute pump with a passion. they look very awkward to me.
I hope I could wear it as well as she does...
I'd change her shoes to black (whatever it may be jz so that it's not too red) and break the redness of the skirt and the top with a wide belt of brown/black color...a wooden bangle on her hand would be great as well...and of course, lastly a big smile..=D
i would have traded the heels for some black patterned flats, and traded the aviators for vintage sunglasses. i'd also wear black or white mod jewelry with it
I would wear it - but I would change the shoes to another color.
she looks really harsh all the time. i think the first thing she should do is her hair because that look makes her look like even more of an uptight b*tch than she already does. i mean.. im not saying she's a b*tch at all, she just looks so harsh and rigid all the time. i think some soft curls would do her wonders. as for the outfit... maybe some black high heel mary janes and a black cardigan and black headband. ..not so sure about the headband but maybe.

I love red paired with nude beige, gray or ecru, so I would have changed the accessories to something in one of these colors. I, too, HATE the monochromatic look. I would not have chosen black pumps, as you suggest, because I hate red paired with black almost as much as I hate monochrome (maybe more). Although I agree with you that the aviators are too casual for this dressy look.
She always looks great! she's the posh posh!!!
she's way too matchy-matchy here. kinda like her mom dressed her.
enough red!
I totally agree. If she were wearing black shoes and big black sunglasses the look would be more sophisticated. She's on a reddish orange overdrive right now with the current look.
I dont know if its just me, but i dont like Victorias style at all! Its too boring and icky - in my opinion.
I would wear it exactly like her. I
dressing monochromatic.
I love it, but I'd definitely take the shoes in some totally random direction. Like a smoky blue and pair it with a bag of the same hue.
Yes on the top and skirt, Heck no on the platform pumps!
monochrome aint that bad---but when the mono chrome is red....well, let's just say be wary. I'd sub in some black heels--no strap around the ankle, and some FABulous, dark, framed shades by Gucci.
No, no, no. Ever since I was a little girl I hated seeing women wear red dresses with black shoes and vice versa. I think I would have picked another shoe with this particular outfit.
I think the aviators are a nice contrast and I agree with the black shoe thing. But even just in the picture I think she looks really cute.
