On screen, the steamy duo of Gossip Girl are dressed to the nines in designer duds but in their spare time, the two are busy promoting sneakers. Random. According to sources, Meester inked a deal with Reebok to be the face of their ad campaign while Westwick recently signed on with K-Swiss — love it or leave it?
Meester wears a pair of black high-top sneakers, black skirt, tank, and duffle bag in her sporty Reebok campaign. On the flip side, Westwick dressed his pearly white K-Swiss's with a dapper khaki suit and his signature pout. Being that we've never seen the two wearing sneakers on- or offscreen, I'm finding these endorsements a little off-target. What do you think?

God, I love him.
1I like Ed's photoshoot and I've seen some behind the scenes pics of Leighton's shoot and it seemed cute.
I'd love to see them doing Marc Jacobs ad together though. Or better sexy Dolce&Gabbana one.

3I have mixed feelings about this. Somehow closing a deal with sneaker companies makes them a bit more flexible and show that they have a wide audience. But then...I was hoping that they both would land deals with luxury brands...which is more close to the characters they portray in GG and somehow in real life.
Yeah it would be nice for them to do an ad together.
4i think it's great! they've managed to strangely but nicely blend their styles with ed and leighton's styles. it's a good combination of people and brand BECAUSE it's so unexpected. it gives the brand an edge, and ed and leighton seem more flexible - and more interesting.

6very wierd, but you take what you can get - I don't blame anyone that "sells out," it's hard not to get swept up by all that money...
