Hold up: Is this an Olsen I'm looking at or Hilary Duff? I did a double take when I saw the singer at TRL's goodbye party. I can totally see Ashley rocking this unique look.
Like many of the other guests, Hilary opted for an LBD. But hers isn't any old black dress; it has a sexy sheer layer. She then cinched her ensemble with a wide leather belt and kept her feet simple with black patent pumps. She dressed up her earlobes with large earrings — her signature. Are you feeling this chic new Hilary?

1I would have liked it if the sheer panel was as short as the dress, but no way on that much sheer overlay...
2I really can't decide. At first, I hated it. But the more I look at it, I found it growing on me a little. It is very different, but I'm not sure I mind it.

42Looks cheap (belt, shoes, bracelet) and thrown together...not in a good way. Sheer bottom part is too long...like, why is it there? It's not sexy, and she doesn't need to hide her legs. I agree that it makes her look shorter. I think the outfit doesn't compliment but takes the attention off of her, and with the big hair on top it's just all too much. The earrings don't work for me, either. But I think it was an interesting idea, kudos for trying it, and I do like the look of the top, above the too-big belt.
