All this Twilight [1] hype has me reimagining the days of adolescent love. When life was so simple, but love was so complex. The uncertainty, the anticipation, the drama! Every once in a while I'll be reminded of some young crush I had, and while at the time it was torturous, in retrospect it's bittersweet. This song was one of my songs of the Summer — such a good one for the car ride home after a concert. I didn't see the video until recently, and the mis(connection) between the pixie-haired girl and her crush is so classic. This song freakin' rocks.
