Check out this Elizabeth & James Holiday Skirt ($365). I usually avoid such puffiness but the dark lace and dramatic shape has me in a fashion tizzy. However, the elastic waistband is a bit tweenish for my taste. Thoughts?

I hate it. I think bubble skirts are over, especially ones that have a maternity looking waistband and fugly lace. This is SO what Lindsay Lohan would wear with leggings while romping around town with SaMAN.
1I love it..but it would look HORRIBLE on me. And probably on anyone except a size 0.
2I honestly wouldn't have considered it "tweeny" or maternity-esque if you hadn't mentioned it... but now I see it. I like it, but not enough to shell out that kind of money. Plus, I agree with the comment that it wouldn't look good on anyone above a size 0... not for the wide-hipped like me!

12I love the lace fabric and the shape (surprisingly) but Fab, I'm with you on the waistband. I'd expect a nicer waistband on something with so little fabric at this price. IMO the waistband really cheapens it.
13I hate the waistband and I think the skirt would look so much better if it was longer-- maybe right about the knees. I don't hate it, though.
