The swirling rumors are confirmed: Miu Miu has chosen Katie Holmes to be the face of its Spring campaign. Details are still under wraps but we do know that the ads were shot last week — hence the smokey eye makeup residue caught on Holmes face seen left. With Miu Miu's past history of choosing celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Kirsten Dunst, and Vanessa Paradis, does this come as a surprise to you?

I don't think this is a good pairing. Miu Miu is a lot quirkier than Katie Holmes appears to be (i.e. not at all). I think they could have done better.

13I don't love Katie, but I don't really mind her all that much. I'm intrigued to see what she can do for one of my favorite brands. I doubt she'll be able to compare with what Kirsten Dunst did - that girl was amazing in those ads!
