When we found out Claudia Schiffer was Stefano Pilati's Spring muse, we were pretty sure the outcome was going to be Fab. See for yourself.
Shot in LA, right smack in front of the Hollywood sign "Y," it is stunning. Though you can barely recognize Claudia's face — it's more just a statuesque blonde in a long and lean navy ensemble — you can tell it's a pro in YSL garb. And notice how the silver grid shoes tie in with the black grid structure. Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, this image will also serve as the cover of YSL's next manifesto. Behold: Spring YSL.

What does the third option mean? I don't get it.
1I went with 'need more.' It's cool though, I like the subtlety, sick of sweaty junkie- looking models crawling and writhing around with 15,000 dollar bags.
great idea.
2Whoa, she looks like she's 7 feet tall in this picture!
3finally, an original and fabulous fashion ad! I was growing so sick of the two-bit, boring, unoriginal crap that Michael Kors and Donna Karen kept putting out (I mean no disrespect to them,; they're fabulous designers; but they need to get new marketing people), but thankfully YSL saved the day. this looks like the old ads of the 80's, but modern and super chic. very simple, but memorable. plus, how do your top Claudia Schiffer?!
4Love this...The geniuses at YSL ALways get it right!
5love it it really genuine
