Madonna's highly anticipated ads for Louis Vuitton are out! The Parisian-themed campaign, shot in LA by Steven Meisel, depicts the ageless pop star in a smokey French cafe looking tres chic in her LV. “She’s so sure of herself as an icon and as a woman," says creative director Marc Jacobs. “What fascinates me the most about her is her never-ending energy, and the idea of becoming and changing. She’s an artist who’s unafraid to use her voice.”
I love the contrast between Madge's classic makeup and LV's ethnic-inspired accessories. However, the brown backdrop and attire are too demure for my taste — but that's just me. Overall, it's a sultry campaign. What do you think?

There aren't any words to describe how much I hate Madonna.
I really don't know how I feel about this...
Gross and vulgar IMO.
Could Madonna please keep her legs closed for just one photo>
I thought it was just boring.. she looks tired.
from the way this is shot this is a pretty stereotypical LV ad. I don't mind it. But Madonna... Isn't she kind of.. old news? Meh.
hmm im too busy drooling over the bags to notice her!
and message to lyjting above, the answer is NO she cannot. Haven't you seen the album cover of Hard Candy? if it was back in her material girl days then it would be okay, but now: "no one wants to see that s*** anymore!" HAHAHA
This ad is boring.
I also forgot. And what the heck is wrong with her right foot? Did her leg fall asleep during the shoot that it just sort of knocked itself over? Gosh, don’t be so sloppy and plant that foot on the floor.
Okay I'm really done this time. I really dislike this ad.
i hate the coloring of this AD. i liked the ads with j.lo a lot better
I can't resist LV. Resisting Madonna, though? No problem.
I like the colors in the ad.
Although I don't care for Madonna, I actually really like these ads. I think they are effective as my eyes are drawn to her, what she's wearing, the accessories and (of course) the bags!
Oh my God, Madonna, we know, we know, we know you're flexible. BO-ring.
She kind of creeps me out...she's become very afraid of her age, I think.
The shoes and clothes are fun, but Madonna's face looks dead. She's in a resturant with no people? Weird.
"She's in a resturant with no people? Weird."
The customers mistook her for a giant roid monster and all ran away.
IS THAT THE $10 MILLION AD?!!!
okay i understand the Madonna part that they want some one iconic to represent their brand i hate Madonna but people say she is an icon whatever but honestly if an ad will cost $10m i would expect more that just this ad!
the ad is okay but not what i expected $10m ad to look like!
so...tired...of...her
eh, i can never speak ill of marc jacobs. madonna has had an illustrious career. as a person, however, i can't say i'm very fond of how she's conducted herself recently
I like them. Madonna will never age she remains young and fearless.
It's okay. I like the style but the colors are very boring.
I like them, they looked SOO much of an american vogue editorial from last year, shooted by? did you guess Steven Meisel.
Totally dull...
Not much modeling abilities from her. A pro would have done waaayy better.
maybe if it wans't madonna posing!
maybe if it wasn't madonna posing!
I am on board with hatin Madonna. Blech
it relieves me so much to see that everyone hates Madonna as much as I do - she is talentless, ugly, boring, fake, and stupid. this ad does not do Louis Vuitton justice; it's boring, the colors are drab, and she is a terrible model - plus that it such a tacky pose especially for such a classy brand - I know Chanel would not want something like this, and I'm surprised that LV would...
I don't hate Madonna, and actually think she has guts & amazing stamina. However, she is WAY overexposed these days and does not look so hot in these ads. The smoky background looks drab to me. This is not what I would consider a "high-end" ad.
