When I interviewed Nicky at her Fall runway show at LA Fashion Week, she talked about how much she loved jackets and outerwear. I hear that. Here she is at the grand opening of the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills showing us her style skills. Though she's a total California girl, she knows how to layer. It doesn't really matter what's under this ensemble, it's all about her sharp tweed coat, cozy scarf, sheer hose, and Louboutin boots. Nicky isn't winning your votes for Sidewalk Style Star of 2008, but she'll always be in the running because of creations like this.

7I love outerwear too. Honestly, I have twice as many coats and jackets than I do dresses and skirts hehe. Infact, I was wearing my grey peacoat and sheer tights with my booties and scarf two days ago. (with a skirt of course, but that couldn't be seen with the coat)
8I love the coat but hate her style. I like how she wore it, but I agree completely that I wonder what she is wearing on bottom, and just how short it is...
