I live in my wooly jackets in the Winter, but they're not the most exciting crop of coats. If you feel me, try one with leather trimmings. This slick embellishment adds a dose of refinement to outerwear without losing warmth. I like how the leather trimming gives this Mackage Short Notch Collar Wool Coat ($883) a sharp appeal. Now you have no excuse to sacrifice style for comfort.

I loooooooooooooooooove the featured jacket, if only i could afford it.
1Not sure how I feel about leather trim...
2I like the Guess coat w. the hood. It's hard to find coats like this with a hood I think. I have tried for YEARS! I am ordering this one now as it is on SALE. My Fave. Thanks Fab!
3I don't like the one in the picture, but I like some of the other pnes, especially the Alice + Olivia one. I don't think wool jackets are boring, though, I love them - although I buy them in bright colors to brigten up the gloominess of the weather...
4i love all the coats
5I love this trend!
6Details like contrasting trimming can add a lot of sophistication!
Talldiva, I KNOW! It's so hard to find a hood on a coat that isn't an eskimo coat. I've resorted to lots of hats and scarves!
7I'm not a huge fan of this trend. I think it gives the coats a certain edge but i'm not sure if its the best look.
