You spend the entire year impressing The Big Boss with your work, and your holiday gift should be no exception. But by no means should you go overboard with an overly expensive gift — that could be considered brownnosing. I would stick to a slightly generic yet stylish gift that's within your budget. You can never go wrong with these Bloomingdale's Pashmina Scarves ($51, originally $95). She can wrap herself with it when the AC is cranked up too high. And he can snuggle with one on his next business trip.

I'm a firm believer in gift cards and flower arrangements when it comes to a boss. Last year, my three co-workers and I each chipped in $25.00 and got the Dr. a gift card for Ann Taylor Loft. That was being frugal-yet generous-at the same time! And she loved it!
1oh that's a great gift, missanelique!
2I love those fireball earrings!
3My boss is a very rich man in his 60s. What do you get a man who has everything? And I really don't feel comfortable buying a male coworker clothing items.
4A potted plant and a giftcard to an upscale men's barbershop. I gave that to my boss, with enough on the giftcard for either a full grooming session (hair, brows, nails) or a haircut and a hot lather shave. HE LOVED IT.
5Oh, and by the by...225 for a cellphone charm?! And that's not a brown-noser gift? Geezus! I got a Coach cellphone charm as a stocking stuffer for 10 bucks!
