Celebrity Style is a huge part of Fab and that's why picking the best of 2008 is a serious matter. Are you all ears? Great. There are 365 days in a year, and we have spotlighted at least one, sometimes two stars, five days a week. You do the math. Still, it was fairly easy narrowing down the options, as there are six ladies we constantly turn to for inspiration.
Leighton Meester is a rising star, not only on TV but also in fashion. She rocks party dresses with such ease. Ultimate California girl Lauren Conrad stays loyal to her leggings, Chanel bags, and platforms. Sarah Jessica Parker has a more mature style and gives the youngsters competition via her sleek, high-fashion eclecticism. A laid-back look — flats, flowy dresses, leather jackets, jeans — is Rachel Bilson's foolproof approach. And finally, Nicole Richie is a master at dressing up jeans. It's a tough job, but help me decide the Best Celebrity Style of 2008.

In terms of originality, I'd have to go with SJP.
The others seem to go with the flow, especially LC.
1it was a tough choice for me b/c i love SJP and she can pull off pretty much anything. but i picked Leighton b/c i would be able to wear most of her clothes.......that is if i could afford it!

16I have to confess something and you all may hate me for saying it... here it goes... SJP doesn't really have great style if you ask me so i don't know what the fuss is about... In SATC she wears georgous clothing, but that's Pat Field and I haven't seen that many preimere looks of hers where I though "Wow, that looks goos"... they're not bad, but.... ... and her everyday outfits are not my taste - but hey - you can't win with everybody!

Besides SJP, the rest all dress like any one of my friends or any girl on the street. I don't see any differences in any of their styles and, in fact, come here and often see pictures of at least two of them wearing pretty much the exact same thing. *shrugs*
19well i don't know if there's just one person that i can pick for this. i like SJP's carpet looks, i like r-bil's look when she's just comfy in jeans, i like that LC dresses up a bit but isn't over done just to go shopping.
