We showed you the first pieces in Whitney Port's clothing line a few months ago — are you ready for the whole shebang? Unlike her friend Lauren Conrad's line, which is sexy sophisticated, Whitney Eve can be described as soft and super girlie. You'll find a few basic pieces, but it's mostly made up of playful frocks, skirts, and tanks that are daytime friendly. Nighttime dresses are also in the mix. I can see from some items that the reality star looked in her own closet for inspiration. For example, can't you just see her getting a pedicure in the pink and purple skinny sweats? Like Lauren's collection, prices are steep — $345 for a dress — but it's the name you're paying for. What do you think? How does it compare to Lauren's line?

half are really questionable and half are adorable
totally whitney
Better than Lauren's but still leaves a lot to be desired...
I agree with ckeller825. Some are pretty ugly - way too casual - and some are totally cute. Seems like it's a bit more interesting then Lauren's line. I LOVE the grey dress with the low back in the main photo...
Ugh. I hate it. It all looks so cheap. While I admire her for actually having some creativity (very unlike Lauren) I kind of think this is a flop. I cannot imagine buying anything here. She also does not seem to realize that everyone does not share her body. Her legs are extremely thin and she is very tall. I fear to see what a "normal" woman would look like in these clothes. For instance, I'm pretty thin but I don't have giraffe-like legs and if I wore some of these skirts I would look terrible!
Maybe this is geared at a teen/pre-teen set? Sigh, I suppose I'm just too old to be watching the Hills!
ckeller i agree. I really loved some things, but other things I wouldn't wear. Whitney does have the ability to pull some odd things off though...
I would wear most of her stuff, but good for Whitney.
The only things I liked were the backless dress and the black coat. Everything else seems like it would look completely ridiculous on anyone. I realize a lot of people think Whitney can "pull off" most of the things she wears, but for the most part she looks like she raided her mother's attic and picked the most unflattering vintage pieces she could find.
I'm with everyone else, some I'd wear and think are okay, maybe not with what else it's paired with and other stuff is just...
Ick!!
Nothing wows me. It's OK. Typical celebrity line.
I think its definitely cuter than Lauren's line. I like some of the pieces a lot, the styling/presentation is horrible though.
Blech. Is she kidding with those tie dye stirrups? I am offended. I would not buy any of it. I would not even wear it if it was given to me for free.
I agree with the rest-some stuff I dig, other stuff is a little off..
I like the charcoal metallic dress....but really, I've seen the same thing at mid-priced stores like Arden B. and BEBE...try again Whit!
uninspired, unoriginal, cheap mish-mosh, blah
Anyone know where I can buy the backless dress? Or when it is going on sale?
Some are okay, but others are just WTF.
Its not so much the close, but the name that bothers me. Whitney Eve? SOOOO CHEESY!!!
looks like she's working with a whole lot of synthetics
It looks just like Whitney...if that makes any sense
there are some cute pieces but for the most part i'm not that into those types of florals. i know that they will sell well though since everyone's interested in what whitney's got going on next.
I actually really like the top 3 looks and a couple of the others...some are horrible though. It's a mixed bag for me.
I think some of the stuff is super cute and looks A TON better than what we saw before of her stuff. But that expensive? C'mon.
I dont really like the collection as a whole. separately there were a few pieces that were nice, but it wasn't very cohesive. i didn't see anything behind the clothing, it's kinda shallow
I actually really like the gray dress, don't shoot me
.
hideous.
it's definitely got more character than Lauren's line, and people complaining about "boring" pieces need to remember that you can't make a fortune on only trendy clothes. you need staples too.
I like the blue outfit in the middle but some of the others are quite ugly and nothing is very original.
LC's line is more structured and sophisticated but it could use some creativity. Lauren pieces are wearable and flattering. Whitney is more creative but not wearable. The solution is easy, they should put together and create a line. It would be a great collection.
I love that metallic silver dress, but the rest of it is cheap and lacks originality or creativity, just like her...
Better than Lauren's....but still have a lot of room for improvement...
Oh my good God. I think I may be speechless. I think this may be the worst celebrity line I've ever seen. Some of those pieces are downright HIDEOUS! Those lace trims? And the tie-dye?? The detailing is so cheap looking and amateurish, like "hmm, this incredibly basic dress seems like it needs something extra if I'm gonna charge 300 bucks for it... oh, i know, i'll stick some cheap lace on the end / lace it up the back / add a random frill / tie-dye it". The whole thing is just very, very sloppy.
As for the name, wasn't this supposed to be called "Eve and A" or something like that? I guess someone insisted Whitney put her name in there somewhere since, as Fab pointed out, you are paying for the name. Personally when I pay for a name I like it to be the name of an actual designer who knows how to make great clothes, but hey, that's just me.
Huh. Turns out I wasn't rendered speechless after all!
By the way, that black hoodie... didn't Rachel Bilson wear something like that two winters ago? And topshop did a knit version of it last winter. And now two years later it's showing up in this collection. Sloppy. Very sloppy.
her line is way better than lauren's, obviously. pretty creative stuff and totally wearable.
Yuck!!!
So much more creative and unique than Lauren's. I could find one of Lauren's dresses at Forever 21 for a fifth of the price. Anything is a step up from that.
this isnt great at all and esp not worth the price. why would anyone pay for the name of this brand? the only reason high end designers charge bc of their name is bc they have qualifications to be designers..like training,school,internships...etc. Does this girl have any? i DONT think so. can ppl in entertainment STOPPPPP making clothing lines?????jeeeeez they are ruining the fashion industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meh. Not a huge fan of any of the looks. I am, however, a huge fan of the headband in the pic with the backless dress.
Some are okay, but some are like...ugh! And, the ones that are okay- I'm pretty sure I can find at other teen-oriented locations. Bummer
I WOULD SO WEAR ALL OF THESE CLOTHES BUT YOU CAN DEFF FIND SOME LOOK ALIKES AT FOREVER 21 OR URBAN OUTFITTERS OR SHOPBOP FOR CHEAPER
