I'm sorry Mr. Louboutin. Your red-soled shoes continue to make us salivate, but we were bitten by the shoe bug this year and that bug's name was Miu Miu. While you all strongly voted for Louboutin as the Best Shoe Designer of the Year, we couldn't help but be fascinated by Miuccia's creations. They're just so dreamy, so intricate, and so funky. And, these shoes never repeated themselves. From one season to the next, an entirely different idea was conjured up.

I'm fairly new to the "best of..." but if 59% of people voted for Louboutin, and 10% for Miu Miu, then why have us vote? Why not just choose the "best of?"

6I'm sorry Fab, but seeing as this is the first year I've been a member, I'm new to this whole "Best of" extravaganza. I'm very disappointed in all of "your" choices. Like esweet said, if 566 people voted for Christian Louboutin, and only 100 people voted for Miu Miu, how on earth could Miu Miu be the winner? Louboutin won, hands down... it wasn't even a remotely close contest! Why bother having everyone vote for their favorite? After all, without all the participation from FabSugar members, there would be no FabSugar. It just disappoints me that you value the opinions of a select few FabSugar staff over almost 1,000 votes. I know I won't be voting in any of these surveys anymore... I know my opinion won't matter.
7Hey gals! Sorry we confused you. The purpose of the Best of 2008 polls is to have a reader favorite and a Fab favorite. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't. We at Fab decided our favorite was Miu Miu, while you guys chose Louboutin. Neither is right, it's just our opinions. And of course your opinions matter! But doesn't ours too? It's just a fun way to vote for our favorites at the end of the year. xo
8I actually agree with this. CLB has some great classic styles, but a lot of the shapes are old lady/not that great. Miu Miu has the best flats in the game by far.
Prada has great shoes too... Other than CLB's, their lines always grab my attention first!
