While most stylists charge for their services, Anthropologie is giving its styling tips away for free with the launch of a new series of craft workshops. “We wanted to share something really personal, which is our creative side, on a one-on-one level,” said Anthropologie’s chief merchandising officer, Wendy Wurtzburger.
The seminars are designed to help women get the most out of their existing wardrobe by using insider styling tricks such as turning sweaters into cardigans or making hair accessories out of ribbons. Sounds fun — count me in! Workshops launched this month in cities nationwide and will continue throughout 2009. Specific dates and locations are to be determined. Check your local Anthropologie for details.
