For those who love Bebe clothes but can't afford them, you'll be happy to hear this news. The brand has launched a new concept store, dubbed 2b, providing fashionable style at half the price of its original line. “You can definitely dress yourself under $100,” said Bebe's chief executive officer, Greg Scott.

The first 2b concept store, designed to look like a nightclub with flashy lights and bold colors, is currently being tested in SF. Offerings include Bebe's popular logo gear along with mini dresses, skinny jeans, and beaded tops, all ranging from $29 to $79. Smart of them to respond to the struggling economy with a more affordable line. Are you interested?

I've never really been interested in Bebe, but I would probably meander into their affordable store. Aren't their clothes usually skanky club wear? Or am I confused?
That's kind of how I always looked at them, foxie. And I've never been into "Logo Gear" so I can't see this being my cup of tea.
Flashy lights? That sounds like a terrible idea for a place where you need to see what the clothes look like.
I'm not into BEBE at all, but I never really thought it was particularly expensive. With that said, I do think it's totally overpriced for what they sell (if that makes sense to anyone else).
Dress like a wh*re for less! Yay!
Hey- looking cheap should BE cheap.
I love Bebe clothes, well I love their sport line and their regular clothing line pants...both dress and denim. I think they are right in line with most other line's prices, but they are incredibly well made. I don't like their logo stuff, but as far as bebesport & their pants go, they are wonderful. And sorry HaterTot, but I'd never think of Bebe as wh*re clothing...that's where Forever 21 comes in to me lol. Cheap & tasteless
i hate logos but i luv bebe clothes so u will prob c me in the store
i was never interested in bebe.
i think they are overpriced.
and cheap looking.
now i see a lot of em at marshalls, but i never buy em anyway.
ugh, look cheap for cheap. exactly.
I have one black Bebe sweater that I really like, the rest of the line hasn't done much for me. It's just a simple deep v long sleeved black sweater...hooray for basics! It was expensive, but I get a lot of wear out of it.
However, on the mannequin in the store, they had the sweater on solo. I ALWAYS wear a cami underneath because of the depth of the neckline. That thing is past cleavage and into bottom-of-the-sternum range. Styling displays like that is NOT going to help a line that's already labeled as hoochie wear.
This is great news, I love bebe clothes but their too expensive for me. I hope this "new" store of theirs has better prices. Also the concept with the flashing lights sounds fun but a bit juvenile.
I would love Bebe if I were into short tight clothes. As much as I would love to wear there stuff, I don't think a less expensive line would help if it's still short tight clothing. Maybe they'll start designing for the more "modest" woman. Oy, I dunno. I'm about to head to the website to look at the current designs to make sure I'm not crazy. Lol.
I absolutely hate the fact that I just said... modest. OY!
It's a good idea to offer a less expensive line, but most likely the offerings won't be as great in terms of quality, style, and variety.
always though bebe was trashy wear.
Not feeling Bebe. The clothes are cheap looking and most times trashy. I may visit the new store though.
Sometimes Bebe has nice stuff, but I always found it overpriced. I would check out the new store, but I'm not addicted to the brand.
Yeah their clothes were never worth the heavier price tags, so maybe this is a good idea for their business. I think I've only found a few decent tops and nice slacks, otherwise the logo wear and club wear is a little too cheap looking.
bebe is awful. i've never stepped foot in a store and plan on keeping it that way.
I love Bebe's clothing but I stay away from the logo items. The new store sounds nice and affordable.
I've always found bebe to be on the trashy side, and I hate logo wear. I may check out the new store, but with low expectations.
I don't think of bebe as "trashy" or "club" wear at all. They have some nice clothes (and some not so great clothes...I'm personally not into their clothing with the bebe logo on it).
I've bought a great fitted white blazer and vest from them as well as a purple leather jacket. The clothes I bought are quite nice and not whorish in any way, shape, or form.
no thanks....ewwww flashing lights??
I agree that Bebe has a "trampy" image. But there are pieces that I own that I absolutely adore. Like a perfect fitting black pencil skirt ($98) and a black leather jacket ($215) they are pieces that I will own for years and wear damn near daily. Their shirts and blouses however are way overpriced for what they offer. Who wants a white button down shirt that laces up the back or has grommets around the collar?
Bebe is awful. That's it.
Wait Bebe is coming out with clothes that look even cheaper....that's wh*retastic! Ughhh now more hoochie mama's can afford these hideous cookie cutter looks GREAT!
Yuck, I hate Bebe. Always have.
Wow I'm surprised to see so many Bebe's haters here. Imo Bebe's clothes are very similar in style to Guess. Does that mean you guys hate Guess as well?
Bebe's clothes seemed too overpriced and never fit me...but I'd probably at least browse in their new store once or twice.
Yea I'd never pay that much for club wear.
I signed up on this thing just to post a comment on these news. I have worked for bebe and what i could tell you is that BEBE is a brand for women that are self confident about themselves and their bodies. Its for women with sexy a modern and sexy attitude. So for all you b*tches that are hating on bebe and that are probably fat and ugly, STAY OUT of bebe stores since its defenitely not for you.
i think bebe clothes are pricey too. Although they do carry alot of trashy clothes but their pencil skirt, blouse, and blazers are design well fitted and worth of the money! Just depends, if youre someone who knows how to shop for great stuff you should be able to recognize that every store do carry bad and good clothes.
you haters are sad....... bebe makes great quality clothing. Do you girls no anything about style, trend and fashion or do you shop at Forever21 and Wal-Mart? If you don't have the figure then go to some PLUS store. bebe makes extremely good quality clothing and their prices are not expensive. They have lowered their prices considerably!
