We're merely three episodes deep into The City and it's already got me addicted. Last night, Whitney moved into her new apartment, which she found with the help of Jay. Speaking of the Aussie lover, he and Whitney had a talk about the status of their relationship. I wonder where things will go. On the work front, Whitney attended her first photo shoot and impressed her boss as usual. Olivia tried to assert her opinions about boys and living spaces upon Whitney but wasn't successful. Were you paying attention to the clothes? Let's find out.

2100% i'm not obsessed
33/5
4I think the show is pretty okay so far...can't stand Olivia though.
5Unsurprisingly, I've read in multiple places that the show is ridiculously staged. I don't mean just scripted -- I mean that her job at DVF is fake, and that they kind of just rearrange stuff and change outfits to make it look like she's worked there multiple days.
6Is this a given that everyone already knows? Or is it a blatant lie? I've never watched the Hills or this show. But that would be really lame ]:
i did really bad i just seem to miss these details some weeks...
7Olivia Palermo is a beauty. However, that beauty is tarnished by her haughtiness. Whitney is unremarkable and a dullard. Her diction is slow and not very captivating or engaging. I like the NYC scenery and the shows premise but she fails to deliver.
8I wouldn't doubt that it's ridiculously staged; it definitely feels like it, maybe even more so than The Hills. And yet I watch both of them, haha. I don't think the fictitiousness bothers me, just the fact that MTV pretends otherwise.
And I do not understand the appeal of Jay. I don't think he's especially good looking, and like many people have said, so far he seems to be the East coast version of Justin Bobby.
9surprisingly 4/5 since i've yet to watch it.
10AHHH so close! i just got erin's shirt wrong from the opening of the episode!
11I agree with Shayela, I read somewhere that her job at DVF is totally fake, and meanwhile DVF has laid off lots of employees. Plus the camera crews get in the way of the actually employees' work.
