Kate Moss is going to be excited for this news. Jimmy Choo has teamed up with British boot label Hunter, and the result is these luxurious croc-embossed rubber wellie boots retailing for $395. The supermodel can wear them at the next Glastonbury festival. What do you think? Are these too over-the-top, or are Hunter and Jimmy Choo the perfect match?

These boots are amazing. Only $395? If it weren't for the recession, that'd seem reasonable.
I like them but prefer a heel.
How adorable! Now I can finally look cute during those rainy days! Yeah!!
I love them, but could never pay that much for them.
Amazing!
i think they are super cute but i love how adding the name jimmy choo ups the price by a ton!
love them!
Oh my gawwwwwwd I want them so bad, but not for 300 plus dollars that is insane!
awwww i love hunter wellies! these are so cool..maybe if they go on sale ill spring for them
Hunter wellies were great when the first came out, but now that they've gotten so mainstream, they've turned into a cliche. Its exactly the way it was with Uggs--they were so cool when they first came out but when people started wearing them with mini skirts, it killed their appeal. I think this is the first nail in the coffin of the Hunter boots.
I actually like them and the price is reasonable.
Where I live, it rains. A LOT. So I need a good pair of rainboots, because wearing anything suede or weather when you have to wade through puddles is not advisable.
That being said, my rubber pink striped wellies don't exactly go with everything. These are beautiful, they are chic enough that you don't even realize they're rainboots. And that croc emboss is amazing! It really doesn't even look like rubber! I'm sold. Especially on an item I'd use so much.
I LOVE!!!
But ooh, if they were wedged...I'd faint.
Very nice! I have two pairs of Hunter wellies already. I don't think I'll jump and buy these nice ones just yet.
I love them, they look so chic! But to be honest I only wear my wellies when I'm gardening or when I'm visiting my friends farm in Devon... I already get called "Barbie" by the local farmers there because of my pink wellies, I can't imagine what they'd call me if I showed up wearing Jimmy Choo wellies!
I love it! I actually been wanting to buy a pair of Hunter boots, but it doesn't rain much and i don't usually walk in the rain when it does. But these boots i might just buy because it is so cool!
i'm on the fence about these - i'm all for croc pumps and things like that - but in these boots, they just don't seem to look like jimmy choos to me - they look a bit less high end than i'm used to so i don't think that i'd be into them as much as i would have hoped.
This just seems like too much of a trend to pay that much money for... for wellies.
Usually on these Love it of Hate it polls, I vote against because the item is too out there, but I really like these! Though like most commenters, I won't pay $300 for them. Plus here in Colorado, we get 300 days of sunshine, so it would be pure fashion victim to wear them, I guess! LOL
im not a big fan of boots
HOT!
uugh everyone around where i live wears wellington boots with EVERYTHING (sweatpants even :/) and i think it's really ugly. plus i haaate crocodile. i just don't think it's cute :/
I love rain boots. And these are pretty cute while still looking adult and being able to match most outfits.
Total lust! I could never justify spending $400 on rain boots though... that's ridiculous.
I like wellies, but I'm not big on the croc-embossed ones.
The price is out of my league, but I like the idea.
Love. But $395 for rubber? eh, not so much
I absolutely ADORE the idea, but for that much money?! And for rubber?! And I thought the original Hunter boots were expensive. I'd consider springing for the $200 classic plaid Burberry wellingtons, but those come with that iconography. These are an adorable style, but don't have that classic punch, so there is no way I'd fork over twice the amount for them.
Who could HATE Jimmy Choo?
