Debra Messing opted to wear an avant garde dress to the festivities. The steel gray hue is sophisticated and compliments her striking red hair and smoky eye makeup. Neutral platform pumps, matching clutch, and gold accessories are all she needs to compliment her ensemble. Just let the dress do all the talking. Do you love it or hate it?

Instant gut reaction: Eww.
Later thought: It's okay...I just don't like the shape, don't like the color on her, gross with her hair. It looks like someone cut up a trench coat and pinned it on her, backwards.
I love the earrings, though...with a different dress.
Stunning. Zoe can do no wrong with Deb.
It's okay...kind of an IN trend so I'm not shocked the choice. I love the color.
It's a little too...geometric for my taste.
Rachel Zoe should be fired for this joke.
haha i just like how her hairs frizzy in the right picture
i'm surprised that i like this, esp. because it's on her (i love her and all, but she didn't strike me as the avant-garde type, if that's what you want to call this dress)
however...her upper chest is kind of scaring me in the full length picture. is it just me, or is that alarming?
It's a great color on her but I'm not a fan of the boxiness of the dress. yeah her chest is alarming. Her bones are showing
I'm not really sure whether I love this or I hate this, but it's one or the other! Gray is a good color on her though.
She's so damn skinny I can't even concentrate on the dress. But i think i like it.
I think it's...OK. I don't mind the shape. I don't think that I like the shoes or the lipstick and her hair needs some work. Her completely visible sternum is indeed alarming.
I completely love it on her!
HOWEVER, her hair was pretty much a disaster
Definitely a Sophisticated look .
I can't wait to read what the fugly girls say about this one! Poor Deb, she can't win, she was blasted for being on the heavy side awhile ago and now she looks way too thin.
I love it! I love the architectural look, just something about it that I just totally dig. The earrings, hair, and makeup are perfect.
I love the dress and really want it! I think it suits her well, but I do think she looks crazily skinny and I wish she had picked a darker shoe...
The dress looks like it's gonna fall down any moment...
She looked that skinny throughout most of Will & Grace - no big deal IMO. I didn't love the dress but her eyes look amazing with the smokey makeup.
i think she looks fab...i'm a red head and the color that looks great on her (us)...i can't believe one of the above posters say it was bad on her!! only someone that skinny could wear such a box-y dress. i wish her hair wasn't frizzy though...
oh yeah....hate the shoe color!
I love the look, frizzy hair aside. It's definitely a risk-taking dress, and I say right on for giving it a shot. At least it's not another boring same ole awards show dress. As for her chest, she's always had that. I know a few people who are the same way... some people just have bird-cage chest.
I don't think so
wow her body has changed so much! she is so toned
I really love it
i love this dress too - i just think that again she's looking very skinny - she's always had the clavical/rib thing going on and it's just really prominent in this gown/picture. i like the steel color of the dress, and with her frame, it's a pretty nice shape too.
i love the dress its fabulous!
Love the colour of the dress, I just don't like the shape.
Love the colour of the dress, I just don't like the shape.
I hate everything about this look...and what is going on with her hair??
Ehh...I give it a 6 out of 10.
Rachelll... howdid you decide on this one? PLEASE tell me whats with the whole, lets make our hips look wider - look???
she looks anorexic
Luv her hate the look
Cool dress
what is up with her eyes? they look weird!
i'm not a fan.
