The model's been prepped and the photo's been snapped — meet the face of Miu Miu Spring '09: Katie Holmes. This pairing came as a bit of a surprise to us [1], and we can now properly judge.

Katie's strong bone structure always photographs well and the sepia tone of the ad delivers a cool, vintage feel. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the ads were inspired by Italian director Fellini, and hoped Katie would appear to be [2] a "luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality."
