Demi's always polished. And seriously — the woman looks better than ever. This week was a whirlwind with the Inauguration and the Sundance Film Festival so we had continuous style stimulation. But sometimes an LBD rules all. Demi looked excellent at MTV's Ball in her strapless, ruffled Donna Karan frock. The wavy bodice and skirt detail are what really make this dress standout; it's such a lively formal option. Talk about a modern classic. Her long brunette locks look fabulously laid back, but her Cartier diamonds keep things black tie. Satin black platform pumps keep things grounded, while her handsome partner in crime continues to be her mancessory of choice.

7Um, with tens of thousands spent on plastic surgery over the years, she better look good! She even had her knees operated on so they would look less "old". I don't think we should be looking to Demi Moore as a role model for aging gracefully, more like desperately trying to claw her way via the knife into her daughter's age-range.
It just makes me so sad that people see her and wish to look like that when it's manufactured and not natural at all. No wonder women have self-esteem issues...they idolise people that are basically made of plastic at this point.

I've never really admired her for any specific reason, but I do think she is beautiful and think she would still look good without all the plastic surgery. I do love her hair and that dress is amazing - I want it. Ashton's looking pretty good too; I never used to think he was hot but lately he's growing on me...

She does look completely fabulous, and certainly whatever work she's had done is spectacular and it does look very natural, but I agree with Darling, plastic people shouldn't represent our beauty ideals for older women.

I agree that we shouldn't idolize women who've had work done; it's not the right way to go.. but I don't know. Never mind she's got a smooth face and rockin' body (as Darling said--with thousands of dollars and personal trainers who wouldn't), but she's just got a certain glow about her. Like I really do wish when I'm in 40's I'll be damn proud of it.
17She looks so amazing now that she's put on a bit of weight. When she got her bod in shape a few years ago for the Charlie's Angels movies I thought her face looked a bit too harsh to be attractive.

Truthfully, I think it's entirely possible to look fit and fabulous in one's 40's (without the plastic surgery). It's all about taking care of one's self.

20I think younger generations will look younger in the future because we know more about how to take care of our skin. We have better products available to us, and we know that the sun is bad, and smoking is worse. I started wearing sunblock daily when i was 18, which was a relatively new concept at the time. My friends may have scorned back then, but now that we're all hitting our thirties they wish they listened to me!
