For Calvin Klein's Spring '09 Collection campaign, creative director Fabien Baron was all about modern minimalism. The ad, shot by CK alum David Sims, portrays model Anna Selezneva looking quite stark and static wearing highly structured pieces. Anna's robot-like stare and posing is a little intimidating, but I appreciate the abstract concept. However, I wish the campaign had more fluidity. What do you think?

Kind of weird...to me.
1I agree. Not really a fan.
2Like the clothes, don't love the ads... not very Calvin Klein in my opinion. I think of CK as a more relaxed yet still high end brand.
3Really not liking the choice of model.
4I like it. It may come off as "boring" but I think the simplicity of the ads really compliments the structural design and inspiration that came forth from the clothing.
5These pics don't do it justice. I saw the show on TV and it was AMAZING. This type of clothing looks best in movement.
6Should have used real dolls if he were going in that direction
7The clothes are nice.... but umm what is up with her hair!?!?!?!
It is totally abrasive and hard to look at. A sleek pony tail would have been so much nicer.
8i like it!its weird!
9Looks like an alien
10uh. no.
