Scarlett Johansson is back as the face of Louis Vuitton in the company's Fall/Winter '07 ad campaign. I am happy to see that she actually looks like herself this time! I'm also glad that the LV goods she's modeling are actually something I would consider buying, unlike those lace-infested Dentelle Speedy bags. In these photos, the actress oozes glamour and sex appeal, two things she is very good at. I am absolutely in love with her hair-do in these shots, as well as the patent red shoes! Though, she is extremely pale, but that was probably the artistic intention.
LV creative director Marc Jacobs said that he based his Fall/Winter collection around Scarlett's character in 2003's The Girl with the Pearl Earring. The ads are shot by Vuitton regulars Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and are slated to appear in fashion magazines in August.

Ummm - she seems to "pale" against the blue. The blue is a beautiful color - but what is she selling? drapes, feathers, or is it the shoes?
4The ad isn't bad, and as sick as I am of Scarlett, she does photograph beautifully. However... I hate the booties! All that ad for such an ugly product.

10She looks great. I think its fine for a designer to use the same muse for more than one season. That said, this ad doesn't do anything for the clothing it represents. Its boring, it doesn't capture the bravado of past LV ads, it doesn't even clearly represent LV... it looks more like a Prada ad. Boo.

12scarlett has this glamourous old school blonde bombshell old look going for her. i think its perfect for lvmh as they ooze glamour and class.

29I'm so in love with this girl, I think shes gorgeous! Funny thing about baybees comment above, I was just saying to someone the other day "Everyone looks better with a tan. Well, everyone except maybe Scarlett." Ha.
30I LOVE this ad; it is carefree yet well thought out. Her skin tone there just pulls you in and makes you just want to look at all the details and coloring within the photo. I think the mix of blues/gold/purple and red are stunning.

32I do like the campaign but it's disappointing to see Scarlett losing weight and losing her trademark curves just because she's modeling.
