Think of all the different ways you can wear rockin' riding pants. You may push me back at first, but you can't deny its sleek equestrian roots. Take the preppy route and wear this sharp cut with a blouse, boots, and a blazer — think Serena Van Der Woodsen; or go modern and pair it with some killer heels and a casual tee. Speaking of Gossip Girl, Jessica Szohr was spotted donning a pair while out with hottie Ed Westwick.

Too funny! As an actual equestrian, I've worn breeches and jodhpurs for years. I was always self-conscious about how tight fitting they are and would change into them at the stable instead of wearing them out the door.
1Now they are the height of fashion! Makes me giggle
Eh not a huge fan...
2oooh these are fun!
3I like them...
4meh...
5Lilegwen...maybe we can put our Tailored Sportsmans to use outside the ring now??
I would never wear my breeches or jods for fashion.
6I like them. Maybe not with those shoes.
7Reminds me of my hunter/jumper days!
8All of my breeches are, well, well-worn, and thickly coated in horse hair...not to mention they are about as flattering as, say, spandex. I have a hard time wearing my white dressage breeches for competition, let alone for fashion...and in shows, everyone's wearing them!
9Not a huge fan - but at least they are actual pants (and not tights).
10My breeches smell like horse and are so worn it would be silly to wear them in public! I find it so funny these are a trend now since I always associate these pants with riding and my horses!
11I have to say, it's neat getting all of the equestrian ladies' opinions on this trend!
I love the whole equestrian look in general, but don't ride horses, perhaps that's why I think this new trend looks fun?
12Okay, if someone wears these, they can finally actually say they are working an equestrian look, as opposed to everyone else who thinks boots over jeans=equestrian.
13Umm, OK, I've been riding for years and it still cracks me up when people try to wear breeches in an attempt to be fashionable. I feel silly enough wearing them for riding!...
14these would actually be a cool alternative to skinny jeans, if it weren't for the fact that they are hideously unflattering. you seriously have to have no hips and perfect thighs, as they emphasize every curve (and not in a good way)...
